Paralegal - Joslyn Law Firm

Mackenzie Burse has lived in Columbus her entire life. After graduating from Licking Heights High School with a Honors Diploma and an Award of Merit, she immediately attended Columbus State as a full-time student, to pursue her degree in Paralegal Studies. While attending school, Mackenzie began her legal career at a local Prosecutors office assisting in the management and case load of two top Prosecutors. The skills Mackenzie obtained throughout her time at the Prosecutors office has led her to be successful in her current position.

At the Joslyn Law Firm, Mackenzie’s role as Ryan Shafer’s head Paralegal is serving as an initial point of contact for clients and ensuring that they receive exemplary service. She manages and maintains a variety of case files while using her considerable multitasking skills. Mackenzie assists the attorneys in timely drafting and filing of legal documents and correspondence supporting case preparation for court appearances and hearings. She has valuable connections and relationships with Court personnel and helps clients navigate the legal world.
While working in a fast-paced law firm, Mackenzie has the knowledge and experience for all Joslyn Law Firm clients.

Mackenzie is passionate about Paralegal work; she enjoys helping others and working in a tight-knit law firm. Being able to work with the attorneys at the Joslyn Law Firm has allowed Mackenzie to utilize her degree, skills, and her connections in and out of the legal field.

After all of her hard work at the firm, Mackenzie is proud to return home to a loving husband, Chris, and their son, Koby.
